LEVEL Studios is an integrated digital agency within the Publicis network. I recruited a multidisciplinary, multi-city design team composed of interaction designers, prototypers, researchers, and content strategists.

My team worked with an array of clients, from technology to entertainment, health care to financial services. I was responsible for business development, both in new business and install base, team resource management, and estimating/cost analysis. The team was responsible for providing user experience competencies to clients including, research, wireframes, annotated specification documents, and prototypes.

Working at an agency is fast-paced, and work-life balance can be a challenge. It was my responsibility to manage the team in a way that wouldn't induce burnout. I accomplished this through rigorous 1on1s, allowing me to tailor career paths for each team member. Many of my designers were junior in their careers, so coaching was essential to build confidence and competency.

Our work was varied, but the team excelled at creating mobile solutions for clients. The platforms we worked on included iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. Our work included consulting with clients about complimentary experiences vs. mobile-first experiences, developing portable experience touchpoint workflows, and creating consistent design patterns.

I was also responsible for client services. I worked to build strong relationships with our clients and make them feel as if we were an extension of their team. Taking a customer-first attitude led to better outcomes for both the client and LEVEL Studios, as it generally meant new future engagements.
